Payment scenarios

Cobrex supports two ways to accept crypto from users.

Option 1: Fixed-amount invoice

Flow: user clicks Pay on your site → you create a Cobrex payment with a fixed amount → you receive a URL and redirect the user → they pay (possibly in multiple transfers) → Cobrex redirects back and sends a success webhook.

When to use: ecommerce, subscriptions, services with a fixed price.

See also: payment object, get payment once you have an id.

Option 2: Static wallets

Flow: user picks currency/network in your app → you request a static address for (network, assets, your client) → Cobrex returns a persistent address per user → any incoming amount on that address triggers a webhook with client context and payment facts.

When to use: account balances, wallets, games — whenever top-ups are not tied to one preset amount.

Implementation: static wallet and revoking an address.

Data model

Notifications and API responses are described in the payment object.
